My name is Philip Aiken and I am a extremely passionate about sustainability and protecting and restoring our natural environment. I host a podcast on this website whose mission is to travel the world of sustainability in the built environment through the stories of innovators in green buildings, renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, nature conservation and sustainable lifestyles. I make videos for for Instagram and TikTok that aim to educate and inspire the next generation of innovators in this space. I also make videos for sustainable small businesses and organizations to advertise their work and share their stories.

My current main focus is telling stories through audio and visual content to have an impact in making the built environment more sustainable, reconnecting people with nature, and supporting the creation of decentralized renewable energy infrastructure. I am experienced in skilled construction labor and management and grew up with a general contractor as a father. I have been an artist my entire life and have dabbled in every form of it I could think of, and I hold a Master of Engineering Studies (MEng) focused in Renewable Energy Systems from Massey University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University – Kingsville.
